This fantastic martini serving tray cart was a lovely gift for me and my husband from a client my husband has. Her name is Debbie and the cart was given to her by his in-laws that just so happy to be the “Tates”. She was downsizing so couldn’t find any room in her new home for it so she gave it to us in hopes of me pumping some new life into it with a quick coat of paint.
And I oh so loved polishing this little nugget into the great piece of gold that it is. I used my go-to Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in “Original” white which is a combination of 1:1 ratio of Pure White and Old White. A good distressing and coat of wax finished the look. I really love this little tray cart. It literally lifts up off of the base and can act like tray you could put on a table, ottoman or have breakfast in bed. So very versatile!
After completing it I ended up using it as a gift to celebrate 1600 Facebook Likes on my Facebook Page Studio Paint Design. I was overwhelmed with the number of entrants and share to my page that I felt this was the perfect “Thank You” to all my wonderful people in my tribe!
