Many drum tables, in general, are hard to come by so when one of these lovely beauties became available in Fonthill, from a lovely lady named Grace with a great hat, I had to have it. Unbeknownst to me she had another one and called me up a few days later to offer it to me…. so I jumped at the chance to reunite the twins.
They are classic french provincial drum tables that can be used as end tables or even night tables in the bedroom. They measure 24″ Diameter x 23″ H. They have much storage in each cavity to use as your liquor cabinet, additional storage for books or a large basket to place odds and ends.
I knew I wanted to give them a universal shabby, cottage chic look with the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Old White and my favourite refinished top with General Finishes Java Gel Stain. I distressed the drum tables and applied a clear soft wax to both of the units.
If you have any questions about these drum tables or any other project we have completed to studiopaint@yahoo.com.
