I picked up this tall dresser in Burlington from a very nice lady that was moving to Toronto with her “new” man. Her name was “Phyllis” hence the name of the lovely dresser. I once saw one of these for sale that was painted in black and thought it would also look great in white. I think it looks fabulous in white.
Refinished in my favourite antique walnut finish the oak top looks very rich. It then received a coat of Minwax Polycrylic along with a coat of ASCP Clear Wax. The rest of the cabinet was painted in a mixture of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Old White and a touch of Aubusson Blue to give it a crisper white colour. It than received a distressing and a coat of ASCP clear wax for added durability.
The dimensions are: 64″W x 19″D x 43″H.
It can easily be used in the bedroom or dining room. It looks absolutely stunning. Love it!!!
