This Victorian Shabby painted chair is the sixth and final chair for Vicky’s Jacobean dining set. It has been finished with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Country Grey, lightly distressed and clear waxed.
OK, I have to admit that this chair, unlike the first chair I did for Vicky, IS really comfortable. Jennifer from Antweaked suggested we build a platform for the chair as it had been modified a little bit since the last reupholstery job. I kept the bottom base as is for additional stability and added a 1/2″ piece of cut plywood to upholster this great fabric. Thanks Jennifer for another great upholstery job!! If you are in the Niagara area and are looking for someone to redo a chair, ottoman or even couch – Jennifer at Antweaked is your person!!
Vicky just left with all her furniture and I might add with a big smile on her face! I’m so looking forward to seeing her “new” old furniture set up in her new space in Orillia. Wishing you all the best Vicky in the next chapter of your life!! You definitely deserve it!!
