If you recall a few days ago I posted a bit of a teaser. My client Bev’s dressing table and ornate cabinet that will go into her new dressing room needed a little love. Would any of you have guessed that I chose this beautiful blue colour for her pieces based on her colour and material choices?
Well, as I stated in my last post (her lovely ornate cabinet) this was a collaboration of colours with Melanie Anderson, master painter/store owner/good friend, from the Painted Bench in Hamilton. The colour was a combination of 1:1 Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Aubusson Blue and Old White. It was lightly distressed and waxed for protection and durability.
The hardware was also replaced an sprayed with Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Bronze colour. The perfect “feminine” final touch for her waterfall vintage dressing table.
I so can’t wait to see this in your newly decorated room Bev!!
