Creative storage boxes were on the agenda today. I’ve always had various plastic storage containers sitting on my Ikea desk to store those typical office items like, pens, staples and paper clips. Now I have these beautiful wooden boxes that I’ve repurposed, knowing I will be using them in my new office space.
The first is a three drawer glove box that I found last summer in Niagara Falls Thrift Store. It has been painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old Ochre, lightly distressed and then waxed with ASCP Clear Soft Wax.
The second storage container was purchased from a lady named May in Welland. Her husband actually built this box from an old Singer sewing machine. I promised her I would not paint it but I just had to…. sorry May. It was painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Old White, distressed and waxed with ASCP Clear Soft Wax.
These two pieces will be a wonderful addition to my new office.
